Use Haze meter, Pencil hardness, Cross-cut adhesion analysis equipment of coating properties. The influences of initiator concentration, PMMA-BA, AA-MAA ratio upon the properties of product were discussed. The results show that emulsion will be good stability and excellent adhesion, when initiator concentration is 2.5 %, PMMA-BA is 50-50, AA-MAA is 9-1 had the best optical physical properties, respectively. The optimum ratio formula of synthesis waterborne acrylic resin adding different proportions of wetting agent were contact angle measurements. When wetting agent to add content to 0.9 %, the lowest contact angle. In the surface properties will not affect the property of the original waterborne acrylic, UV ink adhesion degree test has good adhesion degree. In this study, successful use of waterborne acrylic resin modified PET surface properties, PET substrate surface becomes more hydrophilic, UV ink adhesion degree significantly improved.
