Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 100 === Due to the growth of an aging society, psychological concerns for senior people such as the sense of loneliness have drawn much attention. Many children wish to take a good care of the seniors in their family, but they are unlikely to do so at expense of their work. As a result, the demand for an adult day care center where senior people can receive a good care while maintaining self-dignity is now growing. This research applies Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) of the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to inspections into the crucial factors and model fitness that determine the location selection for adult day care centers. Then Extension Method is used to identify the most appropriate location. Corresponding to the modeling indicators that evaluate individual and general model fitness as well as meeting the standard model of convergent validity and discriminant validity, this research is valid and reliable. The findings demonstrate good modeling fitness, which comprises of convenient transportation, community environment, living requirements and public facilities. Moreover, this research shows that combining Extension Method with case studies is a good approach to solve conflicts and inconsistencies.
