In recent years, due to the development and application of E-Commerce, Making revolutionary changes to the transaction model. Transactions are continuously on the Internet between enterprises, and formed the Internet purchasing -----E-Procurement. This purchasing model is not only breaking the limits of time and space, solving the long and complicated procedures of traditional purchasing process effectively, but also reducing high costs for the enterprises, it provides enterprises a new opportunity to reduce costs and increase profit.
Due to E-Procurement can bring huge benefits, many large companies are generally adopted electronic procurement system, but time after time because of lacking many function of the system, it takes the procurement process still requires a lot of non-valued operations, this study to F company''s new e-procurement system including establishment of the system ,model design, functional processes, and system development. Furthermore, analysis and discussion the benefits of e-procurement systems to F company, and to provide steel making companies or downstream industries valuable reference and application to adopt E-Procurement system.
