Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 資訊管理學系所 === 100 === Due to the rapid development of networking technology, wireless network is offering a network with no wires. People are able to connect their devices to a network using wireless network technology and bring their devices anywhere easily. There are different types of wireless network, such as wireless LAN, wireless MAN, and mobile devices network. Because wireless networks do not need any physical circuits between subscriber and service provider, the data is transmitted in the open air. Thus, it is easy for an attacker to eavesdrop on the contents of communication. Therefore, several secure and lightweight protocols are proposed in this thesis. A lightweight delegation-based authentication protocol in 3G network, a lightweight EAP-UTLS authentication protocol, and an improved fast re-authentication protocol in WLAN are proposed in this thesis. Furthermore, the performance of our protocols was compared with the previous protocols. The proposed lightweight authentication protocols not only reduce the computation cost on mobile station but also provide user privacy protection and unlinkability. Last but not least, it withstands several possible attacks.
