Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 統計學研究所 === 100 === Shannon size diversity index is a widely used diversity index in the ecological literature, which is used in the continuous data. This study focus on comparing existing approaches by generating some simulated samples. Furthermore, we also computed the variance of the estimators, and constructed the confident interval by bootstrap. Then we applied those methods on forest data, which are located in BCI and Sherman plot separately. Finally, this study had some discussions and suggestions that are based on simulations.
