| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 動物科學系所 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to establish an online simulation model for optimum market weight of hogs at different market prices and cost factors for farm managers. The system adopted the Windows2003 Server operation system, and was developed by HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), VB.NET (Visual Basic.NET) and ASP.NET (Active Server Pages.NET) programming language connected with Microsoft Access 2007 Database. The main function includes three sections in terms of pig farm’s financial record, simulation model and report output. Firstly, user must register online, and then login system. Then user can input all kinds of expense and income data to take as the inputs of simulation model and to support users to control the pig farm management according to financial reports. The simulation model simulates the results based on market price of hog, pig farm’s financial record and the feed conversion ratio in all stages. After input the related data, the model simulates the optimum market weight and maximum net return according to the concept of marginal return must not below marginal cost. This system also provides a sensitivity analysis function to investigate the optimum market weight at different live weight and different market prices to give users some available information. The section of output report provides some financial reports from pig farm’s financial record. This system could be used to assist the pig farmers to do the decision support on cost control, feeding and marketing to achieve the goal of best productivity and maximum net profit.
