Therefore, there are three quarters belong to slopeland areas. The plain land has been developed completely, and the slopeland becomes the developing target. The relevant authority has notice the important soil and water conservation, Soil and Water Conservation Act and relevant regulations have been set up since 1994. During the development of slopeland , it is necessary to summit soil and water conservation plan, in order to handle and maintain of soil and water conservation, and avoid the soil loss disaster. In this study, 32 soil and water conservation plans have been collected and as a research area. The SL factor in USLE was calculated by single slope and compound slope equations. The slope was divided into different category, which are:1.slope length is longer than 100m, 2. slope length is less than100, 3.slope shape is uniform or non-uniform, 4. if the slope is greater than 30%, it will be neglected. The results show that: 1.when the slope length is more than 100m and with non-uniform slope shape, it is recommended to use compound slope equation, in accordance with the terrain changes to calculated SL factor which is close to the status of the terrain. 2. When the slope length is less than 100m and with non-uniform slope shape, it is recommended to use single slope equation, 3.
