Through the adjustment on each variables of the structure system, we can approach the optimal effectiveness on base isolation behavior. Different structures will require complicate calculation process and no criteria are performed by each calculation to attain an improvement of modification. Hence, if the initial analysis can obtain a proper range of design value, the overall design request can be accelerated. In this study, the first step is to select an appropriate range of design parameters to describe the structural system. This can be used as an observation of the structure behavior subjected to an earthquake. Then, the second step used the Fuzzy PSO (Fuzzy Particle Swarm Optimization) which is a Data Mining technology to approach the selection of proper ranges of initialization. More specifically, the case study present a precision machine is mounted on an isolator which is considered to be analysis. This precision machine is assumed located at CentralSciencePark in Taiwan which is suffered from a giant earthquake on 21 Sep. 1999.
