Batch sorption experiments were carried out to remove tannic acid (TA), acid blue 40 (AB-40), acid red 1 (AR-1) from their aqueous solutions. The structural order and textural properties of the synthesized materials have been studied by XRD‚ FE-SEM‚ TEM‚ FTIR‚ TGA and BET. The adsorption capacity of the adsorbents varies in the following order : N-SBA-15 > SBA-15. The adsorption isotherms showed that AB-40 was better fitted by the Langmuir isotherm. The adsorption kinetics showed that the equilibrium adsorption amount of TA, AB-40 and AR-1 were 426.25, 427.97 and 329.41 mg/g, respectively.
