When a violin player is playing violin, he usually needs the assistance of shoulder rest to support the violin. The shoulder rest is put in between the violin and the shoulder of the violin player. If the surface of the shoulder rest cannot match the shape of the player’s shoulder properly, the sound of the violin may be unstable and long time of violin playing might usually lead to discomfort of the shoulder of the violin player, which will affect the quality of the entire violin playing. Hence, in this study, Human Factor Engineering is associated to adjust the shoulder rest of metallic material to a curved surface that meets the shoulder of the violin player; meanwhile, reverse engineering and computer aided design are used to draw new shoulder rest. According to the previous research of the cheek rest, it was found that the use of fast forming material is disadvantage to the sound of the violin; hence, the use of wood material is adopted. Basedon this, fast forming method cannot be used, and since the four-axes carving machine used in previous research can only be used to prepare for very short work object, CNC machine tool needs to be used for the processing. However, because the processing process using CNC machine tool is far more complicated than other manufacturing process, and MASTERCAM assistance program is needed to design and simulate the cutter path, the research process is pretty hard, and difficulty increases too. For the wooden shoulder rest as processed by CNC machine tool, since it is wooden material, surface treatment on its appearance by sand cloth is usually needed to make entire shoulder rest smoother. This new shoulder rest can effectively improve the shoulder discomfort on the violin player due to long time of playing and practicing; therefore, it can lengthen the practice time and enhance the violin playing quality. 王 明 忠 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 77 zh-TW |
