Description
Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 企業管理研究所在職專班 === 100 === Recently, due to the activities of human being, the atmosphere with the warming effect increases tremendously. Furthermore, the burning of Petrochemical fuels and the emission of Carbon Dioxide and CFCs lead to the serious greenhouse and global warming effects. To solve this problem, the promotion of electric vehicle becomes the main trend in the future. However, owing to the bottlenecks of high cost of electric vehicle and the difficult maintenance of power networks, the electric vehicle is not affordable by most of the people. Unless policy sets some limitation or the gasoline price turn to be extremely high, the electric vehicle will not be popular in the short term. In this study, the special characteristics of electric buses with fixed schedule and static departure/arrival location are considered to be necessary for the development of this industry. Business Model Ontology and Business Model Canvas proposed by Alexander (2004 &; 2010) are used during the study of this industry. In the meantime, the method of Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) are applied to this study in order to build the business model of electric buses in Taiwan. First, the secondary data will be collected and analyzed from the enterprise of electric buses. Second, this study combines with the implementation of triangulation. Thus, a survey with interview questionnaires was designed based on the prospective of Business Model Ontology. Moreover, many enterprise experts were invited to implement individual depth interview in order to get deep information. Therefore, this study can induce the main factors for constructing the business model of electric buses. Also, the expert questionnaires for the DEMATEL can be designed. Our study from the data analyses and matrix computations shows that: 1. The support policy and the assistance to this industry from the government are critical to the success of electric buses industry in Taiwan. 2. The cost of the battery is also a key factor to influence all the prospective of this industry. Therefore, this study proposes many business models, such as battery rental, battery switch mechanism and battery charge by driving distance, based on the analysis results shown above. Finally, the concrete suggestions could be references for the enterprise of the electric bus industry, the relevant divisions of government and researchers in the future.
