Description
Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 化學工程與材料科技研究所 === 100 === Densimeter and Cannon-Fenske type viscometer were used to measure the densities and viscosities of six binary polar mixtures of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) ,2-propanol, 2-butanol, 2-pentanol, 2-hexanol, 2-heptanol and 2-Octanol with a high-pressure densimeter in a temperature range of 303.15 K to 323.15 K and at pressures range 1 bar to 120 bar. Excess molar volumes and viscosity deviations at constant temperature are evaluated according to the measurement data for these binary systems. The variation of excess volumes with composition can be represented by the Redlich-Kister model. Tait model can correlate accurately the experimental density data over the entire pressure range at fixed composition and temperture. The effects of polar solvents and Alcohol’s chain length on densities and viscosities was also investigated. The experimental was found that the density will rise when the pressure is rising, while the rise in temperature the viscosity decreases; temperature higher than the pressure on the excess volume of impact, and the systems viscosity deviations are negative deviations.
