The first parts, nano silica particles were chemically modified with vinyltriethoxy silane coupling agent, which were characterized by using FT-IR. It was shown that the vinyltriethoxy silane molecules had been successfully grafted onto the silica particles. The second parts, unmodified silica and modified nano silica were subjected to incorporate into the high density polyethylene(HDPE) matrix in series phr of 1,3,5,7 and 9. SiO2 nanoparticles were dispersed in the HDPE by using laboratory extruder to prepare HDPE/ SiO2 nanocomposite polymers. The properties of HDPE/SiO2 nanoparticles polymer films were measured by tensile test, abrasion test, linear thermal expansion and field emission electron probe microanalyzer(FE-EPMA) test. We find the unmodified silica particles were easily aggregated in the polymer matrix by using FE-EPMA observation. Chih-Chao Yen 顏志超 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 40 zh-TW |
