Incapable population has increased as well as the need for Home Health Care. Most of the residential are considered open space, therefore, home health care providers must be aware of the risk factors in order to have coping strategy. The objective of the research is to discuss the occupational hazard of home health care providers, their level of concern and coping strategy. The study is applied with cross section method, and questionnaire. As a tool, the charts of occupational hazard experience, concern level and strategy are used. The data were analyzed with SPSS12.0 for window statistics, descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA ,Pearson correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The information were collected from 117 subjects with average age of 37.79 from Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung and Taitung counties. Among the subjects, 64.1% holds a bachelor degree and 82.9% are R.N. Both with average clinic experience period of 10.46 years, home care experience of 5.49 years. 55.6% of the subjects are currently on duty in hospital home care system. The average counts of home care visit are 67.16 monthly. The result shows 28.51 points in the occupational hazard category, 58.74 points in concern level category, and 75.89 points in strategy category. Education lever, experience, and home visit frequency are the factors of occupational hazard, and home visit frequency and personal child count are the factors of concern level; age, home care experience, occupational training and certification are factors of coping strategy.
