In Taiwan, the existing tea plantation area is about 16,255 hectares, the annual tea output is about 17,502 hectares, the production value of tea is about 4.5 billion. With people forming the habit of tea-drinking and driving the trend of drinking tea, tea has become an important industry and commodity on the gift market in Taiwan. Many people often regard tea commodities as gifts and exchange them. In this study, ten kinds of packaging tea commodities are designed to be samples . The study applies the the gifting market sales of the composite level of criteria for the FAHP model, and combined with the opinion of professional gift-shopper on gift-selection, sequencing grade scores, and the weighted value of the commodity. In addition, selection by experienced experts predict the forecast sales value of the sort of commodities. The result reveals that tea merchandise selection model developed from this study can sort and choose good quality tea commodities. It is also to be verified that the order of sale forecast is consistent with the order of macrocosm weighted value. The theories of this study can be a reliable reference for tea gift managers to choose the most suitable commodities and be exempted from the pressure of purchase cost.
