Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 100 === Abstract The study is to discuss how elementary school teachers in Keelung City perceive the influence between the declining birthrate and the working pressure. The population consisted of the elementary school teachers in Keelung City. Based on self-designing questionnaires, coupled with focus interviews, this research analyzes there is a difference or a relevance between the declining birthrate and the working pressure among the elementary school teachers based on background variables such as sex, age, school scale, working position, working year, experience of being a surplus teacher, and education. This study employs stratified random sampling. The returned workable questionnaires are 699 in total, useable rate around 89.7%. Descriptive statistical analysis, single factor analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation analysis are applied to analyze the data, and there are five outcomes concluded as follows: 1. “The change of parenting styles” is the highest factor for elementary school teachers in Keelung City to perceive the issue of the low birth rate. 2. “The working loading” is the highest factor for elementary school teachers in Keelung City to perceive their working pressure. 3. There is partially significant distinction on the perception of influence of the declining birthrate for elementary school teachers in Keelung according to different backgrounds. 4. There is partially significant distinction on the perception of teachers'' work stress for elementary school teachers in Keelung according to different backgrounds. 5. There is a positive relevance for elementary school teachers in Keelung City to perceive between the declining birthrate and the working pressure. Based on the outcomes of this study mentioned above, there are some suggestions for educational and administrative organizations, schools, teachers, parents and future researches.
