Drawing upon justice theory, we tested leader-member exchanges differentiation (LMX differentiation) as a mediator of the relationship between authoritarian leadership and workplace deviance. Additionally, traditionality and power distance were tested as a moderator of the relationship between LMX differentiation and workplace deviance. Based on a sample of 260 employees from Taiwanese companies, the result indicated that the authoritarian leadership contributed positively to workplace deviance. In addition, it also shows that LMX differentiation as a mediator of the relation between authoritarian leadership and workplace deviance. Finally, the relationship of LMX differentiation to organizational deviance and LMX differentiation to supervisor-directed deviance were more positive when traditionality were lower, rather than higher; the higher the power distance, the weaker the positive relationship between LMX differentiation and supervisor-directed deviance. Limitations of the study and implications for future and practices were discussed. Na-Ting Liu 劉娜婷 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 66 zh-TW
