Description
Summary:碩士 === 嶺東科技大學 === 科技商品設計研究所 === 100 === The ultimate purpose of product design is to design attractive products that customers are willing to spend money to buy them. However, past studies concerning the product design neglected the final stage of how to satisfy customers’ overall sensation. Therefore this study attempts to develop a product evaluation scheme based on the overall customers’ satisfaction. To illustrate the manipulation process, the digital camera is used as our target product. The proposed scheme integrates the Kansei engineering with the Kano’s model. Through this integrated scheme, the influence of design elements on product images and product images on overall customers’ satisfaction are thoroughly investigated. The quantification theory type-I is used as the mathematical modeling basis and it provides the detailed quantified information of every design elements on different customers’ preferences. In the end, a new product is designed and tested based on the proposed integrated scheme. The test result is good and the proposed overall satisfaction index may be used as a guide to clearly identify the goodness of designed products.
