The system is composed of three parts. The first part is the image processing. We acquire the answer sheet image by using the fixed size window and do the image processing; We first eliminate the influence of the illumination and binarize the image, then correct the skew image and normalize the image to a fixed size, and finally locate the answers by using contour detection. Then we compare the answers to the correct answers and score the answers. The second part is the development of user interface based on the Android system. The third part is the integration of Android system and OpenCV. The system can be easily used to recognize and score the computer scoring answer sheet using the Android system smartphone.
