Summary: | 碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程研究所 === 100 === The study aims at the head of hexagonal tightening screw to perform forging simulation analysis. Assuming constant shear friction, the simulation and analysis of one die and two passes are carried out using DEFORM-3D finite element analysis software. By means of realistic cylinder compression to obtain flow stress of material, and the frictional factor can be found by using FEM combining with the cylinder compression. The CAD files of dies and work-pieces are constructed by Solid Works software to be pre-process needed in DEFORM-3D to obtain 2 passes forming simulation. Besides, the effects of various taper angles for the first pass on forming characteristics can be explored to figure out the good forming conditions of hexagonal tightening screw. Furthermore, the effective stress, the effective strain, the velocity field, the forging force, and the die stress can be obtained as the reference of dies design.
