Summary:碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 建築研究所 === 100 ===   Most of school buildings have been evaluated the aseismic capability by using Preliminary Seismic Evaluation Method in Taiwan. To base on the results, seismic evaluation and retrofit of school buildings would be finished. In this investigation, post occupancy evaluation of Preliminary Seismic Evaluation Method was discussed by the results of seismic evaluation and retrofit design for the school buildings. And the impact factors, such as the response of earthquake response, the reduction for ducility and the resistance shear capability of components, were concluded. . According to the Preliminary Seismic Evaluation Method developed by National Center For Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE), the horizontal shear strength of RC column which could provide for earthquake attacked is 15 kgf/cm2. In this study, general RC column which could provide for earthquake attacked is 6.136 kgf/cm2. And short RC column is 8.081 kgf/cm2. And then, there is a good agreement for divided the Preliminary Seismic Evaluation Method.
