Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 國際企業管理與製造產研碩外專班 === 100 === Education develops all around the world towards the life-long and international trend. In Vietnam, the number of students has risen so fast since reform and opening-up. Whereas, the faculty members are not enough to be sufficient to that raising; in fact, the Bachelor lecturers are outnumbered in many Vietnam institutions of tertiary education. Thus, the problem is how to prepare and to reach the high qualified teaching/learning and faculty to adapt with the rising numbers of students in recent years and next years on. In addition, this research is to do analyses and get prediction values of students and faculty in all Vietnamese universities for the future. The statistics provided by the Ministry of Vietnamese Education and Training from 1999 to 2011 are used by applying Grey System Theory – GM (1,1) to forecast. The results of this process are valuable based on which this study also does a careful analysis on the trending of the faculty and students. Through that, this thesis can find good trends; when Bachelors are going down, the Master and Ph.D. faculty are likely to reach a good percentage in next few years. The rates of students per a lecturer are also calculated and forecasted in this research significantly since it shows the Vietnamese foundation to have the good rates in the near future. This study can provide the Ministry of Vietnamese Education and Training a good method and resutls to plan the education policies and resources allocation in the future. Future work is evaluated to have in academic field since there are valuable results from this thesis.
