Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系 === 100 === Patent right is the method to practice innovative abilities and maintain competitive advantages. Using patent analysis which could help us understand the technical situation and hold the development trend is the important referable base of making strategies. However, it’s found by reviewing the past references that patent analysis mostly focus on high-tech industry, but there are rarely complete researchs on domestic golf manufacturing industry which have 80% global market share rate. This study uses patent analysis to explore the correlative patent data of golf club from the patent databases of Taiwan Intellectual Property Office(TIPO), the United States Patent and Trademark Office(USPTO). And it also tries to hold the technical development trend and the state of patent layout by analysising the patent management charts and technical charts. The research result shows that the golf manufacturers in Taiwan recently get stuck with technical development and enter the decline stage of the industrial tech life cycle. On the other hand, the name brand vendors in the United States possess the strong R&D ability and industrial technology stably maintain in maturity stage. In this industry, the main patent technology presently is concentrated in the “golf club structure”, and the main effect is “controlling promotion”.
