The other advantages of solar-based electricity generation include safety, no pollution, less restricts, easy maintenance, and low failure rate. With its specialization, the system can also be applied to no or not-enough power supply remote areas. “Technology and Innovation Report 2011,” announced by UNCTAD in Geneva, indicates that in 2010 1.4 billion people on the planet still lived without electric power. Development of renewable energy, especially solar energy, for reducing electricity shortage is also suggested and meaningful. A PV-based generating system, composed of PV modules, battery units and power circuit system, is normally designed based on the demand of power load. The goal of the paper is to design a low power PV-based generator dedicated to lack of electricity areas, such as villas, holiday resorts, prairies, islands and mountains. Our implementation has good and stable electricity outputs in valuable experiments. Furthermore, the capacity of the power generator applied by different PV modules, Poly-Silicon and Amorphous silicon, are compared and analyzed in the same experimental environments.
