The credibility was good. According to the overall correlation analyses, local attachment, community involvement, and local residents' attitude were all positively related to developing local festival events. In the regression model, local attachment, community involvement, and local residents' attitude could all positively predict development of local festival events. Generally speaking, local residents' attitude toward developing local festival events was that it helps to improve the reputation of Tauyuan City and add more features to the city, increasing people's artistic and cultural accomplishments and understanding of customs and traditions, and urging residents to participate in diversified cultural activities.
