Summary:碩士 === 景文科技大學 === 電腦與通訊研究所 === 100 === This paper present a novel compact wide-band planar antenna,the antenna designed by the traveling wave basic theory. The antenna is used by the Unbalanced Transmission line of quarter-wavelength and adding a balanced Transmission line terminal to match the Unbalanced Transmission line. This antenna radiation pattern is omni-directional. Under the voltage standing wave ratio (V.S.W.R.) 2:1 of LTE/WiMax system, bandwidth effectiveness is up to 80 %. The method presented in this paper is applicable for current wireless communication system and future development.The design details and experimental results are presented and discussed in this paper, to provide the characteristics of the simulated and measured results as the analysis.
