Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 電子工程學系 === 100 === Medication safety administration is a complicated process involved with the information of patients, drugs and data storage. As a result, the medication errors may easily occur due to the un-correct judgment or lack of the human resource. Taking medication safety into consideration, this paper presents a secure authentication protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which is fit for the IT infrastructure of hospitals. Performance of proposed protocol is evaluated and simulated via Verilog hardware description language. The functionality of the proposed protocol is verified using Altera Quartus II software, and implemented in Altera Cyclone II DE2-70 FPGA development module. The output data’s of the development board are verified by event-driven programming language, Visual Basic 6.0. Also the output signals from the FPGA are measured in 16702A logic analysis system to complete functional verification. The logic (gate-level) circuit of the proposed architecture is synthesized using Synopsys Design Vision software. The XOR operation is applied to achieve the purposes of data protection.
