Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理學院管理碩士在職專班 === 100 === By using the Health Belief Model and the product knowledge variates to explore the influential factors of Chinese herbal health food usage of Pingtung adults. This information could be providing diet policy for the public health of Chinese herbal health food related issues. To a random sample of adults over age of 23, and the data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and logistic regression. There is 50% percent of the population use Chinese herbal health food in this survey. For people aged from 40 to 59 years-old, level of education for university and career of military, government employees and teachers, the income level between 30,000 to 50,000 NTD are the main on taking Chinese herbal health food. The main composition of Chinese herbal health food is microorganism and followed by animal products and botanical products; and the main function are immunomodulatory and anti-fatigue. Perceived Severity, Perceived Benefits and Perceived Barriers, as well as family members, friends, medical professional recommendation are usually to affect the using of Chinese herbal health food. The results of logistic regression found that Perceived Susceptibility, Perceived Severity and Perceived Benefits are factory for significant impact on the population of Chinese herbal health food of using behavior in Pingtung area.
