The results indicated that the highest ambient air particle bound mercury Hg(p) concentrations in TSP occurred in April (0.050 ng/m3) while the highest ambient air particle bound mercury Hg(p) dry deposition flux occurred in June (0.019 ng/m2*min) at Westin Park. Experimental results also demonstrate that the mean particles concentrations of PM18, PM10 and PM1 were highest at the GM sampling site and those of PM18, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 were lowest at the HK sampling site. The average coarse particles concentrations at all sites were highest in the winter. In addition, the mean Hg(p) concentrations and dry deposition were highest at QX because of the concentration of industrial emissions. Since no significant Hg emission sources are located at GM, the mean Hg(p) concentrations and dry deposition were lowest at this site. At the HK sampling site, the main contributors to the pollution were traffic areas. The seasonal variations of particulate-bound mercury Hg(p) in PM2.5 and PM1 at all sites were highest in winter and lowest in summer. The average coarse particulate-bound mercury Hg(p) (particle sizes > 2.5 µm) concentrations were highest in the spring and winter. They were lowest in the summer. Finally, the size distribution of particulates in air at all three sampling sites exhibited a major peak at 1 µm. Guor-Cheng Fang 方國權 學位論文 ; thesis 75 zh-TW
