The caretaker begins from finding to identifying mainly from experience facing the parents of developmentally delayed children, and psychological procedure and adjustment process experienced. Following are research conclusions: 1. Procedure from finding to diagnosis identification. Because there are many types of delayed development dimensions and there is no uniform definite criterion, it is quite tough that it is not easy for a caretaker to find delayed development of infants. 2. Psychological procedure of facing pressure and conflict. Conflicts are formed by pressure sources, including self-adjustment, culture, work option of a caretaker, communication between a couple and with the elders, and the mass society. 3. In the psychological procedure of adjustment and acceptance, the caretaker emotional adjustment strategy can be either negative (unable to adjust and get into a pressure cycle) or positive (self-adjustment and frankly face). The problem-solving oriented strategies, such as “family assistance and assist in child growth together” and “accept social resource assistance”, are positive development.
