Summary:碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 中國語文學系碩士在職專班 === 100 === Abstract: This thesis is discussed mainly from the works of Su Shih’s Anthology about his food culture, outlook on life and philosophy. This thesis is as follows: Firstly, I describe the motivation and research purpose of the writing of this paper. Next, I discuss the background of food cultural development of the Northern Song Dynasty. It was driven by the economic prosperity and social development and the developed of catering industry to tend to be more specialization and division of labor, and thus the food life also tended to be elegance. Coupled with the North-South exchanges of food culture; and it produced a direct impact on the food store. The vegetarian wind has resulted in the popularity of Buddhist beliefs and Taoist’s health. I discuss the food writing mode of Song Dynasty literati again, the food of the Northern Song’ writing as the contemporary literary style, with light and the philosophy as the major pursuit, coupled with Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism ideological influence, and the Northern Song Dynasty literati focus on health, vegetarians with light taste to present a different diet to the previous generation style. Then it entered a theme of Su Shih’s poetry of food culture in the expatriating of official career to perform the poet’ adaptive and happy, and detached going insights on his life. Regardless of his official career with in destitution and misfortune, his attitude was always able to reconcile himself to his situation to take something calmly. His philosophical ideas, reflected in the poetry about food, but also exhibited his indifferent style of philosophy. Thereafter, he has stated of the officialdom career and broad-minded theme after the impact of Su Shih’s diet. Su Shih was not followed the three meals a day through think and thin. He was still yet optimistic about the heart, reflected in the diet written, but also reflected in his transcendence. The final conclusion summarizes the literary authors’ writing styles for food each dynasty, as well as Su Shih’s overall outlook on life performance.
