Students’ information needs and information seeking behaviors in copyright information were also researched. A set of questionnaire items were used to collect research data. Statistical analysis from 241 data reveals following research several findings: (1) College students’ knowledge about copyright law was insufficient. (2) College students had various copyright experiences related to course, recreation and network use. (3) Some items in students’ copyright knowledge were significant related to correspondent items in their copyright experience (p < 0.05). (4) College students needed copyright information for protection of their own right and proper use of others’ work. (5) Students’ needs for copyright information derived from building lawful acts and concepts. (6) Most college students acquired copyright information through the Internet. (7) College students had problems in finding sufficient comprehensible and useful copyright information. (8) College students sought for other’s help in finding copyright information. Suggestions to government, educational institutions and libraries are provided.
