Summary: | 博士 === 輔仁大學 === 商學研究所 === 100 === The emergence of virtual team has been caused by the globalization of the world economy. Multinational corporations carry out communication with their customers and employees in different nation, language, time zone, and geography that cause the formation of global virtual team (GVT). However, GVTs encounter many management and cultural challenges as well. This study explores the approach of improving the performance of a global team management practice. The study conducts a case study and survey by issuing a list with 792 questionnaires to the members of global virtual team in Taiwan enterprises.We used method of multi-correlation, regression and AMOS to analyze the data, and got the conclusions as followed:
1、 Factors of communication media, cultural diversity and team interaction, have positive effect on team performance.
2、 Communication media, access conventient, information richness, feedback speed, and anonymous are the four major factors of communication media constructs. The access conventient is the most important factor affect the team interaction, however, the anonymous is not significance.
3、 The construct of cultural diversity, the individualism, power distance, masculinity, and uncertain avoidance are the four major factors to affect team interaction.
