Chapter One The study method, the range and the limit of the thesis.
Chapter Two According to current Inscriptions on a tablet, records and Zengtongdaozang, here is a presentation of Yin Zhiping’s achievements in his life and contributions to Quanzhen Taoist .Analyses in philology appear in this chapter related to Yin Zhiping’s preach quotations , poetry collection and etc., which are currently preserved in Zentongdaozang.
Chapter Three Analyses in Yin Zhiping’s thoughts appear here with his preach contents as the main part and his poems as the evidence. His thoughts mainly lie in two parts: cultivation of mind and body. Cultivation of mind results in usual mind by reinforcing one’s determination and not being suspicious. At last, with usual mind as the goal and only through cultivation of mind and body can people become Immortals
Chapter Four Here is a presentation of the thoughts of Wangyungyang and 7 Zhenren, five masters of whom tutored Yin Zhiping personally. It is also studied how Yin Zhiping inherits and carries out those thoughts.
Chapter Five Conclusion. The summary of the thesis.
