As a result, a series of lanthanide coordination polymers, (C2H8N)M(C14H8O4)2 (M=Nd (1a), Tb (1b), Dy (1c), Eu (1d)), possessing a three dimensional anionic porous network were formed, where dimethylammonium ions resided inside the pores. Thermogravimetric analyses indicated that compound 1 was thermally stable up to 300℃. The photoluminescence properties of the ligand, compound 1b and compound 1d were measured separated. The results of cation exchange experiments showed that compound 1b experienced structure distortion, and photoluminescence tuning. The solvent inclusion experiments showed that the emission properties of compound 1b were altered when various types of solvent were included inside the channel voids. On the other hand, the doping of diverse lanthanide ions during the synthesis process will lead to isostructural products of compound 1b with mixed lanthanide ions.
