Description
Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 學習與數位科技學系 === 100 === Due to the popularity of digital learning and lifelong learning, many e-learning related institutes have been established during the past years. Also, many theses have been generated and published since the establishment of these institutes. Therefore, to have a general view of the current status and trends of these master theses has become an important research topic. This study reviewed 360 master theses from 14 different digital learning institutes, dated from 2007 to 2011. These theses were retrieved from two electrical databases: National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan and Airiti Library, and examined through content analysis on research topics, participants, and methods. The results could be beneficial and referable to digital learning related studies and researches. The main findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1. In terms of research topic, the majority of master theses mainly focused on “teaching theory application”, followed by “e-learning application”, “assessment and evaluation”, and “technique design and development”, with “else” ranked the last. 2. As for the participants, most of the theses concentrated on “K-12”, with “adult learning”, “higher education” and “else” ranked the second, third and fourth. The least participant style to be studied was “business training and development”. 3. With respect to research method, “quantitative research” was the most used in digital learning related theses, followed by “both quantitative and qualitative research”, with “qualitative research” to be the least.
