Furthermore, it is to explore the relation between students’ life stress and emotional management. The study is focused on the fifth and sixth graders of Luo-Dong elementary school in Yilan County , conducted by the questionnaire survey method. The questionnaire data are analyzed by percentage,mean value and ftandard deviation , T-test,one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-moment correlation. The conclusions induced are as followed: 1. On the whole, the scores of emotional management of the fifth and sixth graders are higher than the average, which show that they normally have good emotional management. 2. On the whole, the scores of interpersonal relationships of the fifth and sixth graders are higher than the average, which show that they normally have good interpersonal relationships. 3. Different background variables of the fifth and sixth graders like gender , parents’educational level and parents’job classification may lead to significant differences in emotional management ; however, the variables like grades make no significant differences in emotional management . 4. Different background variables of the fifth and sixth graders like gender , parents’educational level and parents’job classification may lead to significant differences in interpersonal relationships ; however, the variables like grades make no significant differences in interpersonal relationships . 5.
