Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 經營管理碩士在職專班 === 100 === This research aims to probe into the precompetitive alliance strategy based on the case study of credit card campaigns among international hotels and banks. On the basis of inter-organizational relations, the case study intends to identify the factors that affect and change the relationships among alliances during the collaboration in the credit card campaigns. The literature review is based on the Alliance Strategy, Resource-based Theory, Dynamic Capability, and Social Embeddedness. The qualitative research is benefited from the secondary data analyses and in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders. It explores the interactions and changes based on the four collaborations analyzed from the perspectives of alliance selecting, relationship building, and relationship maintaining. The result reveals the following conclusions. The complementary resource is a key motivation for organizations when facing the selection of their collaborators. In terms of relationship building, the distinctive possession and the managerial process of an organization are the keys to facilitate the competition of each other. Last but not the least; trust needs to be maintained in the interaction between members in cooperation from both sides. It may induce behaviors for reciprocals and negotiation for both sides. It will also enhance the relationship in the cooperation.
