Countries like Taiwan, EU, United States, Japan…etc. are positively import the food management system. Take Company S as an example, Company S began to import and carry out ISO22OOO:2500 food safety management systems in mid 2010.
The purpose of this research focuses on the following:
1. To investigate the upcoming difficulties and obstacles at the beginning
of the process.
2. To provide the solutions of the facing problems and challenges when
the Company S imports ISO22000:2005 food safety management
systems.
3. To compare whether the profit is earning and the customer complaint is
decreasing before and after Company S implements ISO22000:2500
food safety management systems.
This research is based on a case study which the researcher examines all events, incidents, and the thoughts of participators by attending the project, and goes further understanding of the influence of ISO22000:2500 food safety management systems on Company S.
1. The communication is essential to the whole process of supply chain. It
is not only that all units in the group should have a good internal
communication but the raw material suppliers, customers, consumers,
and other related organizations should have external communication as
well. All above mentioned is the key factor to make ISO 22000 operate
effectively.
2. Build up food safety group. By giving duties to all members and
dividing the works perfectly can reduce causing the unnecessary loss.
Setting up a food safety group is one of a key point in ISO22000.
These people might not be professional to ISO, but they shall have the
professional knowledge and ability toward their industry.
3. Assign the manager (representative) and authorize him/her the power
of management. When deciding a representative, the ability, prestige,
authority, and the command of the procedures shall be concerned.
4. The success of the system import doesn’t lie upon one person, but lies
upon the power of whole group. The only way to make the system
works successfully must rely on the cooperation of all involved parties.
