PLA has biodegradable performance can be decomposed in the soil, the environmental burden small. PLA has no function groups. So far, the PLA dyeing method likes polyester dyeing method both using disperse dye. But the thermal properties of PLA in comparison with polyester are not good. Both in dyeing or printing on the temperature problems.PLA uses disperse dye on the curing temperature is difficult. In this study, the reactive dye inkjet printing on PLA. The structure of PLA has no function group, but reactive dye needed combination function groups. The reactive dyes fibers can’t be combined with PLA, PLA is in order to introduce functional groups combination with reactive dyes. The study uses chitosan make to pre-treatment of PLA. Chitosan is a biodegradable polymer, it comes from natural shrimp and crab shell produced when a raw material, it has a non-toxic, Biodegradable. In the first, the pre-treatment of chitosan ,and then inkjet printing on pre-treatment of PLA , to explore the effects of processing conditions. The result show pre-treatment concentration 5 wt%, pre-treatment concentration curing temperature of 150 ℃, paste pH value of 3, steaming time at 50 min have the best K/S value.
