The intake and exhaust pipe is designed, and the fuel mixture ratio, ignition timing and valve clearance are adjusted to complete the experimental equipment of a suck-through small carburetor gasoline single-cylinder turbocharged engine. The Nm and Brake Horse Power (BHP) are obtained by electric-dynamometer. The bsfc is determined in a fixed speed by the fuel consumption measurements. The CO (in %) and HC (in ppm) are determined by non-dispersive exhaust gas analyzer. The above experiments are recorded in tables, and the experiment steps are repeated to be compared with naturally aspirated engine and turbochargered for analyses and discussions.
