Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班 === 100 === The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship of BMI, body image and recreational sports participation of fifth and sixth grades elementary school students. Furthmore, in this study, the author tries to examine if the relationship between BMI and recreational sports participation are mediated by the body image. 452 copies of questionnaires have been distributed in total, and 451 copies of questionnaires are gotten back. Taken out 43 incomplete and null copies, there are 408 valid copies. The percentage of retrieve validation is 90%. Based on survey and analysis, The results are summarized as follows: 1. There are significant differences in the body image among the fifth and sixth grades elementary school students with the difference sexuality. 2. There are significant differences in the body image among the fifth and sixth grades elementary school students with the difference BMI. 3.There is no significant correlation between the body image and recreational sports participation. 4. There is no significant correlation between BMI and recreational sports participation. 5.Body image can not be a mediator between BMI and recreational sports participation.
