Study of Practical Courses’ Satisfaction and Aspiration of Employment for Automobile Department Students in Vocational High School - In Case of Taichung, Changhua, Yunlin and Chiayi Local Area

碩士 === 大葉大學 === 機械與自動化工程學系 === 100 === The study mainly explored the practice courses satisfaction for vocational high school students who majored in automobile department, and the analysis of their aspiration for choosing further studies or employment after graduation. The subjects were grade eleven and grade twelve students, who lived in Taichung, Changhua, Yunlin, and Chiayi, Automobile Department of private and public schools with courses of automobile maintenance, automobile panel-beating, motorcycle maintenance, and automobile coating practice. 979 surveys were valid questionnaires and the effective rate was 84.9%. The research tool used self-made questionnaire—“The exploration of practice courses satisfaction vs. employment aspiration for vocational high school students majoring in automobile department.”, using SPSS statistics in mean, frequency, test of independence, one-way ANOVA, and factor analysis. The conclusions of the study were as follows: 1.In the basic data, except the courses arranged by schools, the study showed that 61% students were satisfied with the characteristic courses developed by schools. The relevant courses arrangements provided automobile department for references in planning practice teaching courses and technical licenses test-taking. 2.In the results of different background analysis, the satisfactory rate played an important role for students and their peers learning one another; the short and oldness of equipments would not satisfy students’ needs. 3.The students with different background put emphasis on getting Automobile and Motorcycle B-class license, Autonobile coating were also included. Those licenses would have great help in their future. 4.The study showed that it had significant positive correlation for students in learning satisfaction vs. employment aspiration.
