Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 運動事業管理學系 === 100 === The purposes of this study are: (1) to realize the current status of badminton players’ coach leading behaviors and team cohesion in University; (2) to compare the differences between coaches’ leading
behaviors and team cohesion among University badminton players;
(3) to discuss the relative situation of coaches’ leading behaviors and team cohesion among University badminton players; and (4)to analyze the calculation of coaches’ leading behaviors and team cohesion among University badminton players.
The research targets are 300 University badminton players. Among
them, 9 questionnaires are invalid, with the recruiting rate of 97 %.
Data collected are processed by description of statistical results, t-Test of independence, One-Way ANOVA, Scheffe’s meta-analysis, Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient, and multiple regression, etc. The major conclusions in this study are presented as follow:
(1)In terms of coaches’ leading behaviors, University badminton players show highest acceptance toward coaches’ training and guiding behaviors and lowest acceptance toward authoritarian behaviors. In terms of team cohesion, players show higher acceptance toward squad adaptability and lower acceptance toward interpersonal affability.
(2)Significant statistical differences within University badminton
players’ percept toward their coaches’ leading behaviors have
been observed under the control of such variables as gender,
grades, years of training, personal best scores, coaches’ gender,
coaches seniority, and the training quantity of each week.
(3) University badminton players’ perception toward coaches’
leading behaviors and team cohesion are positively related.
(4) University badminton Coaches’ leading behaviors can
efficiently predict team cohesion.
