Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 100 === A sound synthesizer is a convenient tool for a keyboard player to play a variety of musical sounds and effects. However, traditional musical instruments such as guitar, although very popular, cannot access these devices to play such a great variety of sound effects. In this thesis, we use the TI DSP C6713 DSK board to develop a real-time music sound processing system. An electric guitar is used as the input source. By using signal analysis and processing, the playing notes are detected and then are synthesized according to our requirements. In addition to the basic note detection, for the chord part, we also design a simple detection method. Through this system, we can immediately produce a variety of sounds and effects with an electric guitar.
