Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 100 === During the early stage in Taiwan, stamping technology starts blooming accompanied with the policy of equal importance of agriculture and industry by the government. Stamping technology plays an important role in the following areas: can containers, small tools, home electronic items, computer products, communication products, 3 C and semiconductor industry.
Accompanied with the industry improvement, the size of stamping equipment has been changing from small to mid-large size and single stamping gradually converts to high speed stamping. This change makes the industry having more varieties and becoming more efficient. High speed stamping is more competitive in the industry. It also meets the needs of end products industry and has been extensively used in Taiwan.
This research is focused on high speed stamping. The study collects information from domestic/overseas industries, industrial evaluation reports, the reports of Metal Industries Research & Development Center, professional journals and professional websites. Based on D. H. Seetoo's strategy matrix as analytical tool, four high speed stamping factories in Taiwan are used as research cases to investigate future management strategy and direction.
The findings of this research are concluded as:
1.Based on the capability, the competition of high speed stamping industry in Taiwan will last and be extended.
2.According to the characteristics of the products or the different levels of techniques, high speed stamping industry in Taiwan has different markets.
3.Based on contract with specialized companies, it would benefit the developing of small-to-mid size companies.
4.High speed stamping company in Taiwan should focus on product gross profit instead of mass production.
5.The advantage of molding technique in Taiwan will develop a major market in China.
