There are many activation of brain areas by visual stimulation. Purposes: To investigate the correlation between psychological characteristics of fashion and fashion symbol event related potentional in college students. Methods: 30 college students (15 males and 15 females, age 19-22 years old) were recruited. They finished the fashion cognitive questionnaire including fashion cognition, fashion literacy and fashion attitude. We monitored fashion symbol image events related potential. Results: There were significant correlation between the event related potential of watching fashion symbols reactions after 300 milliseconds (P3) and fashion cognition dimension (r=-.363, p=.049) fashion literacy dimension (r= -.376, p=.041). The fashion cognition, fashion literacy, fashion attitude, and P300 were significantly correlated in female, separately. Conclusions: fashion cognition correlate the fashion symbol concentration.
