Summary:碩士 === 中山醫學大學 === 應用資訊科學學系碩士班 === 100 === Along with the popularization of network, so that people can easily retrieve in-formation from the Internet. There have been many applications and web services de-veloped at present and help people for work and life. For the visually impaired people, they can’t use these tools because of the visual defect. They do many things depend on others. Therefore they can’t deal with things independent and lack self confidence. In this study we build an information exchange system which consisted of web version, mobile version and home version for the visually impaired people. And we design an item exchange mechanism that sharing data with multiple databases. Visu-ally impaired people can through smart phones with Bluetooth scanner or browser to get the information of item independently. They no longer need others assistance and establish their customized management of item at home or work. For design a user interface suitable for visually impaired people and general, web version follow the Accessible Web Development Guidelines and W3C Accessibility Guidelines; mobile version is a gesture-based application. Both of them are follow the Universal Design. All users can easily and clearly to use system. Through our system, we hope that vis-ually impaired people to become more convenient in their life and enhance their self-confidence.
