Description
Summary:碩士 === 長榮大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士班 === 100 === ROC Ministry of Education has been promoting Campus Youth E-service Volunteers for ten years. Though many successful cases have been known to the public, there are still many challenges faced by schools in running their volunteer programs. For example, with the diminishing motivation to participate in extracurricular activities, students tend not to attend the programs that demand unselfish devotion and no reward. This is an important issue remained to address. Based upon several key motivation theories, the research has developed a questionnaire and conducted a survey to all E-service Volunteers nationwide. The questionnaire consists of motivation, job involvement, performance and personal information. Data analysis methods such as distinction and correlation analysis were employed to validate the developed hypothesizes. The result shows that job involvement and performance of volunteers are respectively correlated with motivations positively. Among all kinds of motivation, job characteristics are ranked the highest, followed by personal need for achievement. Significant motivations differences are also observed among different groups of students. This result can offer a guidance for running E-service Volunteer programs.
