Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 電機工程學系碩士班 === 100 === Water is a biological necessity; its quality and security profoundly influence human life. Water supply system is quite complex. It involves resources, processing, transportation, storage, and wastewater treatment. This thesis is focused on information of water safety and storage for household. The objective is to improve current residential water safety and elevate quality of life.
This thesis explains hazardous substances in water. It demonstrates the use of commercially available sensing measuring instruments to monitor of water quality. It illustrates own research and development of water level detector ensuring safe storage level, and water storage tower monitoring device preventing human tampering. In order to establish a comprehensive residential water safety information system, each sensor has communication capability with built-in network interface.
The computing is based on input from water quality sensors, collection of parameters integrated with data. It incorporates fuzzy theory to construct a decision-making system to provide information on residential water security in a timely manner. It will send alert when risk factors reach a critical point, such as: stocking up water reservoir when there is supply stoppage, human intrusion, poor water quality ... and so on message, to ensure the water safety for the users.
Finally, we use the actual implementation to demonstrate the use of intelligent sensors and information and communications technology to construct a residential water safety information system to cater for the intellectual quality of life.
